Captain Bill Mimikos

 Growing up in Massachusetts, the ocean has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been in and around boats since I was eleven years old, and over time my passion for the water — especially Casco Bay — became something I wanted to share with others. In 2024, I earned my US Coast Guard Captain’s License and turned that lifelong connection into a career.

Before becoming a captain, I worked as a lawyer, audiobook narrator, sales trainer, and spent years involved in the theater world. Those experiences shaped the way I host my charters today — blending professionalism, storytelling, humor, and hospitality to create experiences that are as engaging as they are memorable.

I’ve always loved history, and one of my favorite parts of being on the water is sharing the stories of the towns, islands, and hidden corners that make Casco Bay such a special place.
